Overview:
The Accident and
Emergency care Technology course is a four year course which trains the
candidate to become a first responder in all kinds of emergencies. They will be
trained in various Emergency Medical Techniques available to treat the
critically ill and injured patients within and
outside the hospital. The training experience is predominantly in the
department of Emergency Medicine. On completion of the course, emergency care
technicians have good opportunities in multi specialty hospitals in India and abroad.

All along the course
the candidates will be taught by experienced faculties in respective
departments. Our Emergency Medicine Department is provided with good
infrastructure and has all modern emergency equipments. Well equipped ACLS
Ambulance for patient transportation is available.
Patient flow is diverse including Trauma, Poisoning, Cardiovascular,
Respiratory, Surgical, Neurological, Paediatric and Geriatric. The candidate
will be trained in managing all these cases in hospital and during transportation.
Eligibility
for admission:
Candidates
qualified in 10+2 or an equivalent with 12 years of schooling with minimum 35%
marks in each subjects separately including English.

Candidates
completing this programme will be able to handle all kinds of emergency
patients in Emergency Department. Emergency Medicine is a young and dynamic
specialty involved in treating various acute medical and surgical emergencies.
This course offers plenty of opportunities for
graduates to be employed in emergency services in Government and Private Multi
specialty hospitals. There is also a huge demand for trained personnel in
abroad as well.
