Overview:
The
Bachelor of Medical Record Science is four years Course which trains the
candidate to become a Medical Record Officer and Health Information Management
Practitioner in all kind of Hospitals and Health Care Facilities. They will be
trained in maintaining the medical record of the patients, including treatment
methods, investigation reports and patient’s medical history, Family and
sociological Data and revive of system.
Medical
Record Science Degree is designed to equip students to take up independent mid
level Managerial Position. Communicating with all levels of healthcare
organizations and use patient data in decision-making and daily operations.
All along the course, the candidates will be taught by experience faculties in
respective departments.

Eligibility for Admission:
Candidates qualified in 10 +2 or an equivalent with 12
years of Schooling with minimum 35% marks in each subjects separately including
English.
Career Prospects:
Candidates completing this course will be able to
maintain and manage the Health Record of patients. Most Private industries and
Government Jobs in records management, require a Bachelor Degree of Medical
Record Science. Medical Records Science typically all needs to have an
extensive background in, Procedural and Diagnostic Coding Guidelines. Hospital
Accreditation requirements, includes Medical Terminology, ICD Coding, Anatomy
and Physiology.
On completion of the Bachelor
Medical Record Science Course the candidates have good opportunities in
Multi-Specialty Hospitals in India and Abroad as a Medical Records Officer,
Medical Records Manager, Medical Coder and Medical Transcriptionist.
