Physiology

The Department of Physiology  was started in the year 2011 with dedicated team of faculty members and infrastructure as per the norms of the MCI. The department has well equipped hematology laboratory, clinical laboratory , amphibian laboratory and mammalian laboratory  to accommodate 90 students in each. The department also has electrophysiology laboratory, cardiorespiratory laboratory and exercise physiology laboratory  with facilities to conduct clinical research.   All the faculty members are actively involved in encouraging the students to participate in various academic activities like seminars, quiz programmes, research and other extracurricular activities.  The department is committed to train all the students to become a competent Indian Medical Graduate so as to serve the community with confidence as a clinician, professional, communicator, leader and life - long learner.    Our vision is to be a top ranked research oriented academic department providing quality medical education in the discipline of Physiology.
